My Comments on the Race
Lee USA Speedway July 4, 2009
Hey everyone its me again. Sorry about not writing for a couple weeks i've been extremely busy between my job and my race car. This weekend we visited my favorite track Lee USA Speedway in Lee N.H. This track has always been good to me and it showed it again this weekend as we recorded a dominating win. With the track on a strict time limit and the rain we had roll threw we got about 5 laps of practice in before we had our heat race. With only one heat race and 14 cars i pulled a pill that made me start 12th. So not knowing really how the car was going to be i was not very happy. Well that all changed pretty quick when after the first lap i had worked my way up to 3rd, and by lap 5 i was in 2nd. Lap 7 would be when i got underneath the race leader James Logan coming out of turn 2. with a dragrace down the backstretch i pulled away in turns 3 and 4, and would go on to win my heat. The win in the heat would award me with starting on the pole for the feature event and Logan on the outside. At the start of the race Logan stayed with me for a couple laps, but after then i cleared him and started to slowly but surely pull away from the field. I could put my car anyway i wanted in the feature it was honestly just like a little sunday drive. After surviving 6 or 7 restarts i would go on the win the race by about 7 to 8 car lengths. I can't say enough about this race team this year, we are just on a roll right now with 4 out of 5 wins in the north series.
